Bringin' Sexy Back
Itoki Design’s DP chair, formed from two Eames-esque plyform shells, is a multifunctional chair with a sexy profile and a generous seat for comfort. Available in natural or painted veneer with cushions in complimentary colors, the chair has either a fixed or swivel base that comes with casters or feet. The DP debuted at ICFF in New York this year, receiving deserved praise for the fluid wrapping of its joinery. I’m totally enamored with how the warm wood tones and snowy white cushion and legs shown in this image create a chiaroscuro effect (and how about that sexy back?).
